Torch corals are considered moderately difficult to care for and are best suited for aquarists with some reef-keeping experience. They require stable water parameters, moderate water flow, and moderate lighting. Regular monitoring of alkalinity, calcium, and nutrient levels is important to maintain healthy growth and vibrant coloration. While generally hardy once established, torch corals can be sensitive to sudden changes in water chemistry and may extend long sweeper tentacles that can sting nearby corals.
